The project aims to create a “Service Robot” operating in orthopaedic rehabilitation therapy. Specific cognitive and physical interaction skills will make the Robot capable of: observing, perceiving the surrounding environment and learning new behaviours, physically interacting with people and objects, adapting to the context, monitoring and dialoguing with the patient, taking autonomous decisions through learning mechanisms.
